The Optone Switch OPT-IES1038MP is a managed industrial device with 8 Ethernet ports that support PoE (Power over Ethernet), 2 SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) optical ports, and a console port. The optical port supports single-mode fibers with wavelengths of 1310 nm and 1550 nm, as well as multi-mode fibers with wavelengths of 850 nm. The transfer distance for these fibers can reach up to 120 km. The connectors for the optical port are SFP, and the fiber core is either 9/125 μm for single-mode fiber or 50/125 μm and 62.5 μm for multi-mode fiber. The Ethernet ports provide speeds of 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and can automatically detect and negotiate between 10/100 Mbps Full-Duplex and Half-Duplex modes. The connectors for these ports are RJ-45, and the MDI/MDI-X connection is auto-sensing. The switch also supports various industry-standard protocols such as IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3ab, IEEE802.3z, IEEE802.3x, IEEE802.1Q, IEEE802.1p, IEEE 802.1w, SNMP v1/v2c, IEEE802.3af, and IEEE802.3at. It has an 8K MAC table, a 1Mbit packet buffer, and a switching delay.
